EXTRUSION CAPABILITIES
Architectural Glazing Gaskets and Seals
Orazen Extruded Polymers manufactures precision glazing gaskets and seals for storefront, curtain wall, window wall, skylight, door, and glass-railing systems. Products include wedge, preset, sponge, flush-glaze, blade, and bulb seals designed for consistent fit and dependable performance.
Rubber and Plastic Material Selection
Orazen manufactures custom profiles using EPDM, silicone, neoprene, nitrile, PVC, TPE, TPV, TPO, and other rubber and plastic materials. Material selection is coordinated with each application’s weather exposure, temperature range, flexibility, compression, color, and performance requirements.
Custom Extrusion Design and Profile Matching
From matching an existing gasket to developing a completely new profile, Orazen provides design assistance, prototyping, and custom in-house tooling. Each extrusion is developed around the system’s dimensions, material requirements, durometer, tolerances, and performance needs.
Custom Fabrication & Finishing Services
Orazen delivers more than continuous extrusions. Cut-to-length products, spliced and vulcanized gaskets, molded corners, setting blocks, custom assemblies, kitting, labeling, and packaging help simplify handling and provide components ready for production or installation.
PGP West represents Orazen Extruded Polymers throughout Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Wyoming, and Utah.
We provide local product assistance, profile selection, samples, budgeting, and coordination for custom glazing gaskets from Orazen extruded polymers.

A glazing gasket is an extruded rubber or polymer profile installed between glass and its surrounding frame. Orazen Extruded Polymers manufactures glazing gaskets designed to provide the proper fit, compression, and dimensional consistency for storefront, curtain wall, window wall, skylight, door, and glass-railing systems. Depending on the system design, glazing gaskets can help retain and cushion the glass while limiting air and water infiltration.
-
Yes. Orazen Extruded Polymers manufactures custom rubber and plastic extrusions for commercial glazing, construction, architectural, industrial, and OEM applications. Orazen can support customers with design assistance, custom in-house tooling, prototyping, extrusion, cutting, splicing, vulcanizing, molded corners, custom assemblies, and packaging.
-
Orazen recommends beginning with the glazing system rather than selecting a gasket based only on its appearance. The correct profile depends on the glass thickness, frame dimensions, glazing-pocket geometry, required compression, thermal movement, material, durometer, tolerances, and exposure conditions. Customers can provide Orazen with a drawing, physical sample, specification, or system information to help match an existing profile or develop a custom solution.
-
Orazen manufactures both EPDM and silicone profiles for architectural glazing applications. EPDM is commonly selected for exterior glazing because of its long-term resistance to weathering, ozone, and ultraviolet exposure. Orazen silicone profiles may be considered when greater flexibility, extreme temperature performance, or standard and custom colors are required. Final material selection should be based on the glazing system, environmental exposure, compression requirements, adjacent materials, and project specifications.
-
Orazen manufactures both wedge seals and preset seals for architectural glazing systems. A preset seal is generally positioned in the glazing pocket before the glass is installed, while a wedge seal is typically inserted after the glass is placed to create compression between the glass and framing. Orazen can help customers select or develop the appropriate profile based on the framing system, glass thickness, pocket dimensions, tolerances, and required compression.
-
Setting blocks are load-bearing polymer components placed beneath glass to support its weight and maintain the required clearance within the frame. Properly selected setting blocks help distribute the glass load, protect glass edges, and maintain the correct glass position. Orazen Extruded Polymers can manufacture setting blocks and edge blocks with project-specific materials, dimensions, hardnesses, and cut lengths.
-
Orazen can review an old or discontinued gasket to determine whether an existing profile can be matched or a new profile should be developed. Customers can provide Orazen with a physical sample, dimensioned drawing, specification, photograph, or glazing-system information. Orazen’s design-assistance and in-house tooling capabilities are especially valuable for reglazing, restoration, replacement, and custom glazing projects where the original gasket is no longer available.
-
Building/Sill Seal is a flexible, compressible polymer seal installed between wood framing and a concrete or masonry foundation. It conforms to uneven surfaces and continues responding to settling, shrinkage, warping, and changes in temperature and humidity. Orazen Building/Sill Seal is available in 3-inch and 5-inch widths for common 2 × 4 and 2 × 6 framing applications and helps limit air and water infiltration at the foundation-to-wall transition.
“Obviously, a business model focused on extruded polymers for glazing is not a new and creative idea, my dad had it almost 30 years ago! However, the need for a company whose sole mission is to provide extruded polymer products to the glazing and construction markets has come full circle. We are investing all of our efforts on serving this market based upon our confidence and experience to do so with excellence. We have many strong and important existing relationships, and know how to build new ones. In short…we will add significant value to the market we serve.”
